  • Night Watchman
    Make security inspection of all areas of the building to ensure safety and security of building interior. Patrol exterior grounds of the building to ensure all doors, windows, and gates are secure and locked. Ensure the safety of arriving and departing personnel. Confront unauthorized individuals for questioning as necessary depending on circumstances. Alert Fire Department and St. Ann’s employees in the event of a fire or any significance disturbance. Assist in administering first aid when necessary, and handle conflict resolution. Should the need arise, contact police department for assistance and coordinate reports. And other duties.
    Requirements: Must have high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of experience in police work or security field.


  • Cook
    Prepares and cooks food for meals, parties, picnics and meetings according to menu. Keeps accurate records of quantity of foods used in meal preparation. Washes utensils, surfaces and equipment used in food preparation. Assists in keeping all aspects of the kitchen in good order. Washes the table tops in the dining room. Performs additional related duties as necessary.
    Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; At least (1) year of experience as a Cook; Current Food Handlers Certification.


  • Nurse (On-Call)
    Provide evening, night or weekend nursing coverage to programs. Performs various health care services to residents of the Children's, Teen Mothers and Daycare programs. As a member of a team, works to instill a sense of medical well-being to clients. Services as Administrative Supervisor after routine business hours, in the absence of the Administrator, Program Director or Supervisors.
    Must have current Maryland Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.) licensure; Registered Nurse (R.N.) preferred; Pediatric and Obstetrical Experience desired; Knowledge of child development and adolescent behaviors.


  • Child Care Teacher – Day Care
    Provide total quality care for the children in the Day Care Program. Attend to the safety, development, nutrition, hygiene, socialization and emotional well being of each assigned child. Must demonstrate dedication, sensitivity and caring as well as be skilled and knowledgeable in working with young children. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent with 90-hour certification and 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility. Must be at least 20 years of age.


  • Child Care Worker - Children's Residential Program
    (PT/Weekend Position)
    Provide essential care, compassion and supervision for assigned group of children. Serve as a role model; provide positive interaction and assist children in distinguishing between acceptable and unacceptable behavior. Performs developmental exercises and/or carry out activities designed for children identified with special delays.
    Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent with completion of child development and crisis management training is highly desirable. A minimum of one year experience working with children in a residential setting. Must possess a valid driver's license and be at least 21 of age.


  • Group Worker/Counselor - Teen Mother Program
    (Part time Weekend Position)
    Provides support and encouragement to teen mothers. Support clients' emotional/medical needs. Participate in team effort for the provision of quality care. Maintain shared housekeeping responsibility to ensure a clean and safe working/living environment.
    Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one year of experience working with adolescents.
