I felt like I was spiraling and didn’t have control over my life. Since moving to St. Ann’s, I have more balance. I’m working on obtaining my GED and starting my own business.

St. Ann’s was not what I expected at all – it was great. I had a good intake conversation with Ms. Gatewood, and processing didn’t take long at all. Coming from a shared home with common rooms, I was excited that St. Ann’s provided a private room for me and my daughter. The [on-site] day care is wonderful since I can have my daughter there while I am working.
For any woman considering St. Ann’s – be open to the help that is available here… St. Ann’s has career guidance. There is financial guidance. There is therapy. There are weekly Life Skills classes. There are social workers who can help you get into school, or get into a job that you want. And oh my gosh, they have a daycare center. That is the best thing. It’s an interactive and fun program, and you should be part of it.
